Small but indeed terrible

I was fond on playing with crickets when I was a kid since I don't have any buddies to play with (well, I do actually, but they come occasionally) and I was amazed on how their chirps relaxes you.

Well, that fondness has already faded just last night when this tiny thing started to chirp non-stop! I bet it was really near our house--no, I think it's just feet away from our house! It was really annoying especially I was having a dramathon (drama marathon in my vocabulary). Its chirp was loud enough to make the whole house hear this. It was like a song inside a store that plays repeatedly. I can't even sleep with the sound. Miraculously, I tried to cover a pillow on my other ear to ease up the noise and woke up surprised that I've fallen asleep.
